Dual Birthdays

We celebrated both Isaac's and Natanya's birthdays this week - actually, back-to-back. Natanya made these treats for the students last night. Both brought treats which wound the class up waaaaayyyy too much because they were excited to have the treats and then had too much sugar in their systems after lunch/recess - treats are served at lunch. I have now asked the students to bring in a birthday book instead of treats because the treats have been such a distraction and disruption for the student's learning. Bummer, I know!
