Science

In questions of science the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual.
 - Galileo Galilei

We use the FOSS Science Modules. These modules are built on the constructivist philosophy - meaning that students learn from discovery after manipulating variables in authentic investigations. Students also write in their Science Notebooks just like real world scientists.

Assessments used:

  • Student Module Worksheets
  • Student Science Notebook - organization / completeness / effort
  • Module Assessments
  • Student Participation and Discussion Effort
