We thought it was so cool that Emma's poem got in Highlights magazine, so thank you for recognizing Emma in class and on your blog. Thank you too to Mrs. Chapin who was teaching the kids to write in 1st grade when Emma wrote the poem in class. Also, cool blog - very fun to read!
Miss Emma submitted a poem entitled "A Unicorn" to Highlights magazine when she was seven.
She recently was published in the magazine! We feel pretty special to have a published poet in our classroom. Way to go, Emma!
