Field Trip!

We had a rainy day at the Green River Natural Resource Area.

Mr. Knox introduces his crew.

Learning about the flora and fauna and the critters who live here.

The tower where we got a bird's eye view of the 500 acres.

A topographical map of the area.

Playing with bugs and insects.

Yum! Lunch. I hope we didn't eat any bugs or insects.

Mr Knox Visits Us

Mr. Knox from the Green River Natural Resources Area came to speak to us about our upcoming field trip.

He showed us pictures of the area and its characteristics. We learned some amazing numbers - like this resource is 500 acres which is 500 football fields! Wow!

We can't wait to see this resource in person now that we have a taste of what's to come.

M&M Club Participants

Nearly everyone in our class has now made the M&M Club. I am particularly proud of them because they helped each other get there by using the buddy system. Working together to achieve an achievement shows the collaboration and learning community we have established in our classroom. This makes me very proud! This is the best way to display Navigator character. Yay! Team Standlee!
